Class Mechanics

Using wicked ritual blades, a Disciple harvests the essence of their enemy and offers it to Khaine in exchange for fell blessings and dark powers. This fairly well describes what the Disciple is all about. Draining the soul’s essence from enemies and transferring that power to allies or themselves. As mentioned above, the Disciple is a healing hybrid that aoc power leveling not only melees at the frontlines, but also heals himself and his allies. Soul Essence is what powers the Disciple’s restorative abilities.
There are three ways for a Disciple to build Soul Essence. When not in combat, a Disciple will quickly regain any lost Soul Essence. Most of the Disciple’s melee abilities will build Soul Essence when damaging an enemy and finally, every Disciple has the ability to turn Action Points into Soul Essence with the Blood Offering ability. Without Soul Essence available to the Disciple, he is unable to heal or restore anyone. The Disciple’s current level of captured Soul Essence is displayed in the Chalice in the middle of the default in-game UI and has a maximum value of 250.
While Covenants might not officially be a class age of conan power leveling mechanic, I thought I’d describe them here. Covenants are group buffs that are similar to auras except that they appear to not really have an effective range on them. There are three different Covenants that the Disciple can choose from, but each Disciple can only run a single Covenant at a time. If the Disciple dies, the Covenant will need to be recast. There is a short cooldown between changing Covenants. They do not stack, but if you have multiple Disciples in your group, each one can run a different Covenant.
